Bring stories to your classroom

Author visits are empowering and fun

As both an author and a teacher, I design author visits that are interactive, age-appropriate, and connected to classroom learning. My sessions invite students to explore stories, culture, and creativity through conversation and play.

Interview the author

This is a fun visit where students get to practice making questions in Spanish. I can customize the topic acording to your needs. Option B, students need to ask questions to guess where I am from or where I live. (Both are Spanish speaking countries!).

Oh my gosh! The students absolutely loved it! They were very engaged and so excited to hear from a real bilingual author/illustrator. They couldn't wait to see your other books, so I've been sharing all of them with the students! You inspired many of them to enjoy reading and want to learn more Spanish! Thank you!!

Kelly Johnston, MA

Elementary School Teacher

This field trip was engaging, informative, and extremely fun for the students. We are so appreciative of you. This is the first time I have met an author and I’m pretty sure the first time the students had met an author. The students wanted to write their own book immediately after this field trip. Thanks again.

Elana Kress, PA

2nd Grade Spanish Teacher

Andrea's virtual visits to my Spanish classes were a hit! She easily engaged the students with her enthusiasm, and it felt like she was right there in the classroom with us. Her passion for educating and connecting with students is evident. Hearing the stories from the author herself was a special treat for us.
